Jan 25
Most of us are familiar with Pablo Picasso's painting Guernica, which shows the tragedies of war and the suffering it inflicts upon individuals, particularly innocent civilians. This work has gained a monumental status, becoming a perpetual reminder of the tragedies of war, an anti-war symbol, and an embodiment of peace. On completion Guernica was displayed around the world in a brief tour, becoming famous and widely acclaimed.

Now, a robot has entered right inside the entrails of this painting, to analyse and complete the most thorough & comprehensive study done so far, coinciding with it's 75th years of existence since he painted it in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War.

With the name 'Travel to the interior of Guernica', the project was patronized by the Telefonica Foundation, permitting the most accurate and precise information of this unique painting, penetrating the several different layers of the picture to create the finished effect, and discover aspects never known till now re. it's gestation, process of the growth, materials used, technique and state of conservation.

It's art lovers' dream of rare and most interesting information to date on Picasso the artist, and one of his most world known work.
