13th July 2012 Photos Of Rolling Stones, 1962-2012

The Rolling Stones need no introduction, and are as popular now as they were half a century ago when they put on their first concert on the 12th of July, 1962, in the Marquee Club of London.

Yesterday Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood & Charlie Watts were reunited to celebrate their 50th anniversary attending a photographic exhibition in the Hall of Somerset House in London. Good news too for their millions of fans that are considering embarking a concert tour in 2013.

13th July 2012 Out With The Chastity Belt, But ...

If you think the idea of chastity is old hat, and the ancient chastity belt is a thing of the past, something similar, just a wee bit less insulting has been invented, and actually on sale now is the so name 'Chastity Ring'. However people claim how modern, open minded and cool they are, these rings are not only sold in many countries and, apparently, but sold out their entire initial limited trial stock, and have now need to reorder great quantities in a hurry.

The ring is sold as a wedding ring, made in titanium, with the idea to prevent married people cheating their spouses or committed partners. The sale slogan is 'for couples who intend to cheat' (as if anyone or anything could). On the interior is engraved: 'I am married', and it's made in such a way that with just a slight pressure, that declaration would leave an imprint like a stamp on the finger when you take the ring off. So the old trick of taking the ring off & hiding it, or wrapping the finger with a band-aid, wouldn't work any more.
