    recognize duties any more.

It's a newsy day today, quite apart from it being a unique one of 11/11/11. Many events and commerce are taking advantage of this so considered lucky number to attract attention, to promote ideas, products and, most of all, hope and dreams. Next year there would come the day 2/1/12, then 2/11/12 and with a bit of luck, 12/12/12; but none of them have the same visual potency and the capacity of the same showy fantasy it generates. Six '1' together, one after another.

This mathematical conjunctive, almost a binary logarithm, provokes apparently, an universal effervescence, necessarily to begin and finish in 24 hours full of illusion and imagination. Most people treat it as promising luck if you wish for something hard enough: winning the lottery, finding love, unexpected windfall, a desired kiss, the unborn baby to be a boy/girl, the job position you have coveted for years ... Such perception invites people to create the possibility to go after or complete a long treasured dream or ambition. Sometimes, with lots of luck and sufficient imagination or doggedness, your desire might be fulfilled. Or perhaps not. Tomorrow may be. In any case, surely there are other days.

It's everybody's right to dream and hope, putting aside the negative thoughts and pessimism, just for one day.
