Johnny Depp & Ken Shimizu ~

It must have been a little bit of a shock, whoever you are, to find yourself standing in front of you asking for your autograph! It happened to Johnny Depp. Naturally the other 'Johnny Depp' was not himself but Ken Shimizu, a devoted fan who, with quite a likeness to the star, had geared himself up just like JD, the most famous & seductive modern day pirate.

Depp was in Tokyo promoting his latest adventure film 'Shadow of Gloom' when the imposter showed up, one of the most popular impersonators in Japan. After the initial surprise, Johnny Depp gave him the autograph in good humour.

Bruce Willis & Mabel Ray ~

The star presented his 6-week old daughter Mabel Ray in Twitter, tender loving daddy, quite a different image from his screen characters, usually heroes, villains, macho men or tough guys. 

As far as his acting goes, it's not so much how he played in The 6th Sense, Armageddon, that impressed me as much, nor the TV comedy series that launched him to stardom, called Moonlighting ( or something like that ) playing an inapt detective, with Cybill Shepherd as his boss lady. For me, his performance as a very eccentric and crazy old coot in the hilarious 1992 comedy 'Death becomes her' is the most unforgettable. So were Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn.
