Under
the glorious limelight day before Yesterday were the Rolling Stones,
but today belongs to Bob Dylan for all the Spanish fans, with his 9th
visit to Catalunya. He took his time visiting Spain, but once started,
in 1984, appearing both in Madrid and Barcelona, has since becoming a
regular performing artist on Spanish stages.
He
is in the midst of his world tour, today the legendary star offers a
great concert for the Inauguration of the 12th edtion of Festival of
Cap Roig. Songs will include 'Blowing in the wind', Matters of Mars',
'Talkin' World War lll Blues', 'Feewheeling Bob Dylan', 'Blood on the
track' amongst many other memorable ones.
** After his debut performance in Madrid & Barcelona in 1984, (including Santana & his band, he has returned 9 times to date. His most habitual scenario in Barcelona is the Poble Espanyol, where he had concerts 4 times: 1993, 1995, 2004 & 2010. ylan The other two occasions the concerts were held in the Palau d'Esports in 1989 & 1999, on this latter occasion with Andres Calamaro.
** The curriculum of Dylan completes with the 2 performances in Cap Roig, in 2006, and tonight to open in the Festival of Cap Roig.

He made 7 stops in Spain during his European tour. As bonus, many
local Catalans were also able to enjoy his performances in Andorra;
being so very near Catalunya.
