The Nude Diver ~
In the midst of the Arctic, with temperature at 1.5 below zero C. Natalia Avseenko, Yoga expert, dived in amongst some white whales (it's more correct name is beluga, large sturgeon fine caviar comes from), trying to domesticate them, using meditation technique to hold their respiration for several minutes. This rather risky experiment is photographed by Viktor Lyagoshkin, of KNS News. She did not dive into the deep water nude by script, but by imposition ... of the belugas, as they don't like being touched by any artificial material like that of the diving suit.

The Mama Mop ~
Three baby owls some 4 weeks old became orphans, squat and crouch down under their Mama - in this case, a floor mop, in the Rescue Centre of Wild life in Somerset, England. That ordinary domestic mop is converted to a comforting refuge for these little babies because those cloth strips seem like the wings of Mama they don't have anymore. Only when seeing how the little creatures snuggle up under the mop strips for warmth and comfort, the care-takers caught on the idea that the Mop can serve as surrogate mother.
