16th Jan 2012 The 'Morning After' Pill

Jan 16A
I am expressing my indignation here with a farmacia (drugstore, chemist's), in the Avenida of Meridiana of Barcelona, where a lady asked for the 'Morning after' pill, and the people behind the counter told her to meditate deeply over the period of 24 hours and see if she really wants to take the pill. If so, they will then, and only then, sell her the pill.

The effectiveness of this Morning After pill diminishes after 12 hours, so this lady is likely to be pregnant and considering an abortion, or worse.

Isn't the priority of the professionals of health to put the health of their patients before their own opinions or religious beliefs? A doctor would try his best to save the life of a murderer and leave it to the law to determine his guilt or innocence, no?
