The
'EuroVegas' I was talking about yesterday, proposed to be raised upon
Spanish ground, in Barcelona or Madrid, is not exactly a brand new
idea. In fact, it had been turning over earnestly in eager business
minds for nearly 2 years since the plan was first made public, to be
constructed in Los Monegros of Aragon. That project sort of died an
immature death; collective caution of failure of the investors had
caused the failure.
I
think differently. That old idea could have waken up the curiosity of
many people, at that time 2 years back; could well produce enough
touristic movement to be profitable. Because of the geographic
difference. Remote, quiet and forsaken plains to suddenly become a vast
entertainment city that never sleeps, like the real 'Las Vegas'.
After
all, many Europeans go to far off Punta Cana to swim, even though they
have magnificent beaches near home. Modern day tourists are
enthusiastic for novelties. It's different from the 'EuroVegas' project
planned for Barcelona or Madrid, both are already ultra modern bustling
cities.
