The
first personal computer 'Apple 1' designed by Steve Jobs in 1976, from
which 175 were produced and today a museum piece, is going to be
auctioned by Sotheby's, New York within the next few days. It cost
Steve Jobs then $500 and it was sold shortly after for just a bit more
than that modest sum. Now though It's estimated to sell easily for
$120,000. It's one of the 50 of the same series in the world &
still functioning.
Experts assured that after 35 years the computer
still works would no doubt up the bids in the auction, reminding the
other Apple 1 sold in 2010 with the initial figure fixed in $150,000
including based plate twith microprocessor 6502 & 8 bits ram, was
eventually sold for $211,000

The computer yes very old fashioned but, without it's existence, we wouldn't see the new breed of dog in the photo below - In an ordinary street, an ordinary housewife taking for a walk a most extraordinary dog.
