9th June 2012 iPad, Orangutan, Albino Killer Whale

June 09

Orangutan & His iPad ~
This orangutan in the Miami Zoo has been trained to use high technology, and can now communicate with people using iPad. This has become the alternative of sign language, whichever way the primate finds easier, more acceptable, or even using both. Apparently he is not the only one either. Other primates are also taking classes.

Albino Killer Whale ~
Russian explorers have seen, for the first time, an adult killer whale, totally white. It's a male, whose fin at the back measures some two metres high, thus means that he is at least 16 years old, and lives in the family community formed by 12 members. What is not known is the cause of his unusual lack of skin pigmentation.
