Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

Sounds conflicting the term 'private shop', doesn't it? To me a shop recognized any customer with money to buy what is displayed there, but not this new one in Barcelona. It's for members only. Presumably there would be a membership fee, or some other requirements or conditions before you are issued a member's card to shop there.

The owners are
Alex Estiles and Xavier Lanau. The shop offers original selections of clothing, fashion accessories of other seasons and periods, objects of decoration, interesting gadgets, unique articles coming from fashion shows, exclusive collections and varieties of things found in exotic countries. There are also designer name products from America like Gap, Abercrombie,Victoria Secrets, Ralph Lauren or from Italy like Prada, Miu-Miu, Dolce & Gabbana, D&G, Moschino, Max Mara or Armani Jeans; designs of Custo Barcelona, of Amaya Arzuaga, of Stella McCartney or Fred Perry, sharing space with sportswear of Munich and G-Star, Eye glasses of Tom Ford.

Meanwhile, there seems to be more and more the so-called 'pop-up shops', also known as 'provisional shops' which are very much the 'here today, gone tomorrow' variety. Perhaps due to Roses being very much a 'touristic beach town, shops spring up or shut down depending on what's in or who's here, permanently juggling the ever changing demands and offer,

But the members only private shop, called the Barcelona Bazaar, is quite new and unique. I mentioned this because apparently members get a very sizeable discount. Hurry up, the shop might not be there very long!
