Autumn Leaves - My 100 Word Fiction

July 15B photo July15B_zps2ea66589.jpg
Once I let my little daughter believe that when she was sleeping, I was out each night putting leaves on the trees outside her window. (25 words)

For some years it became a game. She would look out then told me I had left one branch too bare, or too many on one, or too few on the other; reminding me of my obligation before she slept. (40 words)

She, gradually growing up, and I, growing old. (8 words)

I guess it's not so bad I died in Autumn. My absence is less noticed. She is always happy that the fallen leaves will be put back. (27 words)
