Every
year, the world's best photographers get behind the lens to produce
the Lambertz Calendar. Shot in unique locations and featuring a
stunning line-up of established and upcoming models, showcasing the
sensually sweet products made by Lambertz. Strictly limited to 1,000
copies and not available in the shops, the calendar has long enjoyed
cult status. It has even been cited as the "Pirelli Calendar of the
confectionery industry" by German photo magazine "VIEW".
The
calendar 2012 of this German firm of sweet biscuits, shows total or
semi nudes. The most polemic one is a nude praying inside the church
Capilla de la Patrona, in Seville, Spain.
I
have seen all the photos of the year. Near naked models, sensual
poses, very beautiful Spanish background locations but, I wonder whether
I am the only one who thinks it's getting really tiresome to see
nearly all commercial products using nudes to advertise whatever it
is. As if the product itself is worth nothing
had it not been for the nudes. What has a naked girl praying in a
church to do with biscuits?
People
who think the product worth it's price would buy it with or without
the nude; and the ones who buy attracted only by the nude must be
simpletons as the naked girl doesn't come with it.
