The
Canadian company of contemporary dance is presenting an unusual
spectacle in El Mercat de Las Flors, Barcelona. What is unusual is the
very special choreography, demonstrating the amazing flexibility &
extreme limits a human body can achieve. The 10 dancers all dance with
harnesses, walking sticks, canes, rods and crutches.
With
music of Louis Dufort and Johann Sebastian, choreography and directed
by Marie Chouniard, will be on for 3 days, as part of the Grec Festival
of Barcelona.
This reminds me of another dance several years ago, one of the most unforgettable, the most beautiful and the most emotional performed by 2 Chinese dancers. You have to see to believe it. I am quite sure you will enjoy the video I put below.
