The singular -
It's said that when one's heart stops, nothing at all could be done. But there are, like most things, always exceptions. A few days ago, a man in Minnesota, United States, literally resurrected from the dead, having remained 96 minutes without pulse after a cardiac arrest, in fact a total shut off. 'The doctors had achieved a true miracle,' so reported the media.
~ What is more a miracle to me is, that the doctors hadn't just thrown in the towel, as even doctors or, especially doctors, would not have believed the man could be brought back to life after being 'dead' for 96 minutes.
The strange -
The agriculturists in the locality of Danyang, China, were encountering something extremely strange, and disastrous. The watermelon they planted weeks before had grown huge but deformed ... and exploded like bombs! They had used a chemical composite to accelerate the growth, but had lost totally the harvest instead.
~ An expensive lesson: Nature does not always permit interference, and greed more often brings unpleasant results.
The marvellous - for dogs!
This is example of the expression of 'A dog's life', according to the architect Andy Ramus, of the British Studio AR Design. This house he built has been nicknamed: 'Barkingham Palace'. The entrance is equipped with scanner of retina, there is doggy-spa, and Plasma television. Price: 250,000 £ (180,615 €)
~ I wish I could afford the house, for me!
